Abstract:

A smart city is a development vision to improve quality of life by using information and communication technologies to improve efficiency of services and meet the needs of common people. Information and communication technology (ICT) is used to enhance performance, quality and interactivity of services, to reduce cost and resource consumption and to improve contact between citizens and government. The objective of building smart cities is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and give a decent quality of life to its citizens, a clean and sustainable environment and application of ‘Smart’ Solutions. This paper focuses on the sustainable and inclusive development of Udaipur as a smart city.
