Abstract:
Simulation has been so far used as a tool for supporting performance analysis of manufacturing and logistics systems. An actual supply chain performance can be simulated and then modelled as per the numbers of theories and ideas described here. Author has critically reviewed various literatures on supply chain simulation as well as different aspects of modelling. Author concludes centralised and decentralised system of supply chain modelling as per requirements.
