Abstract:
An effective utilization of industrial and agricultural waste produced by industrial process has been the focus of waste reduction research for environmental, economical and technical reasons. If some of the waste materials are found suitable in concrete making not only cost of construction can be cut down, but also safe disposal of waste material can be achieved. China clay waste products chips when crushed to required nominal sizes such as 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 40mm etc. provide a rough and irregular surface which aids in bonding of cement paste and the aggregate. Ceramic production conducts on temperature 200°C to 2000°C, So the possibility of pozzlonic reactivity in such products, which is responsible for long term strength and good durability. In this study propose to use waste china clay powder as partial replacement for fine aggregates in natural fiber reinforced concrete.
