Abstract:

Ride comfort is one of the most important performance of vehicle and stability plays a major role in it. The stability of a vehicle depends on many parameters. One of the most important parameter is Centre of gravity. For better handling of the vehicle, we need to keep center of gravity low. The designers prefer to maintain fixed ground clearance to acquire satisfactory parameters. Most of the time vehicles have to face rough terrain, where we need high ground clearance of the vehicle. In both cases we need an adjustable ground clearance system in the vehicle to have optimum performance.
